Enjoying the snow...

Back in America...

I suppose it has been a few weeks since I have updated everyone. Our connection in Addis is not that good, which limits my opportunity. During the first part of this month Amanda and I headed to Kenya for a check up. We had a nice visit, but were not comfortable with the doctor we met with and some of Amanda's test results were not as good as we had hoped for.  Because of this, Amanda and I flew back to Addis a week ago yesterday (Saturday) and a week ago today we took off from Addis and headed back to America to follow up with our own doctors. It was a sudden trip and we are hoping to get back to Ethiopia quickly. We hated making the long trip back, but we are very grateful to be among our own doctors who know us and give us the personal connection we have come to appreciate. Amanda is doing good,  getting plenty of rest while we are here. But...it is cold! Thursday low is supposed to be 4 degrees, slightly different than the 80 degrees in Ethiopia :)
