Simply put, we are a family who desires to help the people of Ethiopia and therefore bring glory to Christ. We are apart of Team Ethiopia, which is a team of missionaries who desire to see lives changed through the power of the gospel. We also are integrated with several other missionary families who are here being a light for proclaiming Christ's renown. Through the opportunities graciously given to us, we are able to be actively involved through working in a medical clinic, helping out with a local church and being on the board of a nearby school, Jorgo Academy.
In May 2011, God used Team Ethiopia to launch the Bethel Bible Baptist Church in Ayat, which is just east of the heart of Addis Ababa. Since our first service we have seen many people come and our prayer is that through Bethel we will see many other things started such as a schools, feeding centers and orphanages. It has been a journey into the unknown that has been full of excitement and learning as we are seeing God change lives inwardly through the power of the Gospel.
We have big dreams which we hope to see fulfilled here by God’s grace. We are blessed to be apart of Team Ethiopia as we see God do great things in this amazing country.
